Because of the internal operations of the US Federal Court System, the federal search cannot be offered as an instant background check. Instead the federal court search takes one to two business days to complete and involves a bit of manual labor. However, this is only a small time to wait for a court search that covers most of the federal courts in the USA. Although the federal search includes all Federal Civil, Criminal, and Bankruptcy Courts, it does not include some federal courts like Tax Courts.
